I am also still awaiting a reply from Harper Voyager about the two novels (The Rising Fire and Shut Up & Drive) that I submitted in October for their digital submissions thingie. No news is good news, I think, but it'd be nice to know for sure. Other people have gotten rejections and/or confirmation that they're still in the running, but my inbox remains empty. Now I'm having nightmares about it, even.
Anyway, Splinters updated with chapter 14 last night and hopefully I can get more written this weekend. Only 5 chapters left, holy shitcakes. I've been working on it for just about a year now, in between all my other projects. One day I will tally up everything I've written since June 2011 and see just how many words I've pumped out. Alsoalso, once Splinters is done, I'm going to try and turn my mind towards the Wheel World series I'm working on with my friend, De; if you want a taste of some of that world, the short stories Cold Seep, Fire Dance, Hard Words, The Problem With Werewolves (and its companion novel, Sand Wolf), and Stormchaser are all set in that universe.
And I guess that's it. Trying to get more visitors to the site, so hi if you're new. Take a look around, the stories only bite if you want them to. Comments would be loved (except 'u suk'). Now back to work, by which I mean I'll read all day and occasionally answer the phone.
